Toy Tidy moves forward

Toy Tidy is now live with a completely redesigned and upgraded website.

Specialising in Toy Storage systems and innovative Toy Boxes.

Two successful years with a Realnet solution where Mrs Google was persuaded to look kindly on Toy Tidy and we helped Helen Coppen reduce her spend on AdWords.

But with an ongoing and regular review of Google Analytics a strategy was developed to develop a more effective solution for Helen.

The new website was engineered to outperform the first one in a variety of ways.

  • Easier navigation, by grouping products
  • A guided journey to the products
  • A suggestion for upselling against each product (managed by Helen)
  • A clearer shopping basket to checkout journey
  • Minimal distraction on the checkout journey (focus on closing the order)
  • Special Offers and What’s New managed by Helen and on the front page
  • Focus on UK made products
  • Brighter larger images – making use of the fact that screens are getting larger

Continuing to work closely with Helen we are looking forward to helping Toy Tidy sell even more toy boxes and toy storage systems in the difficult economic trading times we are all living through.

One Response to “Toy Tidy moves forward”

  1. I was first attracted to Realnet by their overall knowledge in the Search Engine Optimisation field and creativity of organic web sites.

Tony and I refer to Google as Mrs Google as she can be easily upset and is not always easily understood. Tony’s understanding approach for organic ranking of http://www.toytidy.com has reduced spend by 1/3rd on AdWords – Toy Boxes and Toy Storage rank 7 and 2 respectively on page 1.

We are hopeful that our new category of children’s furniture will follow them on to page 1 soon!

The Realnet design approach has been developed further in our recent upgrade and redesign of http://www.toytidy.com which looks great and met all our objectives for improved consumer experience and back end functionality.

Realnet and ToyTidy continue to work closely, creating the site was just part of project, developing the new site as technology evolves is team work.
