Google may surprise you…

Novus Environmental, one of our most recent sites to go live found that Google told them more about their business than they knew themselves.

Vetspeed, another of our customers and parent company to Novus invited us to design and build the website as we had successfully managed a number of other sites for them. After an initial consultation where we were able to understand the business in greater depth, Novus specialised in hazardous waste disposal. As a sister company of Cambridge Pet Crematorium, large furnaces were on hand to dispose of toxic waste otherwise unsuitable for standard waste disposal.

We recommended a Google Adwords campaign to see things from the other side of the fence…Novus knew what they did but what were their customers looking for? The results were a big surprise, and changed the entire direction the website would take. The campaign showed that search terms ranked 2nd down to 12th were all medical terms…some of which had been added to the list as an after thought! The most surprising was 3rd down the list…soiled bedding.

The website has now taken on board the need within the industry to address medical waste and has been tailored to cover all of the main requirements of their customers quickly and efficiently. Because we know what customers want we geared the SEO towards the search terms to bring Novus higher in Google rankings for what they want to be found for.

We have also included an ecommerce section as well as a purchase order section to allow for customers to have complete flexibility, get everything they need in one place and make repeat orders, maximising sales for Novus.
